We’re excited to have you participate in stART the conversation. We’ve heard your questions and want to make this year’s experience as smooth as possible. Please review the common questions below.
Please reach us at communications@wyandotbhn.org if you cannot find an answer to your question.
stART the conversation is a community art exhibition focused on mental health, healing, and connection through creative expression.
Date: Thursday, May 7
Time: 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. - Speaking program is at 6:00 P.M.
Location:
KCKCC Technical Education Center
6565 State Ave
Kansas City, KS 66102
The event is free and open to the public. Guests can enjoy artwork, community connection, and meaningful conversations around mental health.
Artwork pick-up will begin when the event ends at 8:00 P.M. at the KCKCC Technical Education Center.
Artists whose work is not selected for the Extended Exhibition should plan to pick up their artwork that evening after the event.
We want to make sure every piece is returned safely to its owner. We know each artwork is important and appreciate your help with timely pick-up.
If you are unable to pick up your artwork that evening, please let our team know in advance by emailing communications@wyandotbhn.org so we can make other arrangements.
The Extended Exhibition is an additional opportunity for selected artists to have their artwork displayed beyond the main event while helping bring community members and artists into our new 8th Street Downtown Wellness Center.
Artists invited to participate received communication in early April with details and a request to confirm participation.
Location:
1211 N. 8th Street
Kansas City, KS 66101
Extended Exhibition Dates:
Monday, May 11
Tuesday, May 12 during the Coffee & Connect event with the Kansas City Kansas Chamber
Artists participating in the Extended Exhibition may pick up their artwork the following week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Final pick-up must be completed by Friday, May 29.
